Intro: Picnic Fun

I started this crypto blog near Christmas 2017 because I wanted to learn how to write and share my knowledge with others in 2018. (Head start on my new year's resolution of trying out something new and enjoying the journey)

While I want to focus on crypto investments and educate others on how crypto will improve the world, I discovered that drawing is quite therapeutic for me. (I received a Fire HD 8 Tablet as a Christmas gift). Here's the tablet that I have: Fire HD 8

The last time I remember drawing was for projects in high school (I went to college for engineering and now work as a project manager). I decided to include a drawing for every post to make up for lost time.

The purpose of this picnic fun section is provide background on my drawings and to track how my drawings improve overtime. For my first picnic fun post, I'll talk about my Coinbase entry: Coinbase

Coinbase is an exchange platform that is primary used to exchange USD or Euro to either Bitcoin, Ethereum, or Litecoin. With the thought of 3 options, I immediately go back to my childhood where I played Pokémon and you must decide which starter Pokémon you would choose: a fire-type, grass-type, or water-type. And thus, I tried my best to illustrate Bitcoin as the fire-type, Ethereum as the grass-type, and Litecoin as the water-type. The dollar sign at the bottom was going to be Bitcoin Cash since Coinbase added that currency on 12/19/2017. But the Bitcoin Cash icon is literally just the Bitcoin symbol leaning to the left. I figured that the dollar sign would be best to represent yourself (or your money) as you choose your starter crypto.

I plan to redo this image in the future once I improve my artistic skills so stay on the look out for that by joining the crypto picnic!
